Digital Back Office · Booking calendar

Let customers book a time without the phone tag.

The booking calendar in Digital Back Office gives you a booking page customers can use any time, reminders that go out on their own, and an easy way for people to reschedule instead of simply not showing up.

What’s included

Booking that fits the way you work.

01 / BOOKING PAGE

A page customers can use any time

  • Set up a booking type for each service, with its own length.
  • Weekly hours, days off, blocked-out time and buffers between appointments.
  • Book rooms or equipment as well as people.
  • Share the page link anywhere: your website, emails or social posts.
02 / REMINDERS

Fewer no-shows and surprises

  • Confirmation emails include a calendar file.
  • Reminder emails go out 24 hours ahead by default, or at times you choose.
  • Text confirmations and reminders through your connected business texting account.
  • Customers can cancel or reschedule from a link, and a waitlist can offer freed-up times to others.
03 / TEAMS & PAYMENTS

For teams, crews and paid sessions

  • Share bookings round-robin, require everyone, or let the customer pick who.
  • Two-way sync with Google and Outlook calendars: busy times are checked, and bookings are added to the host’s calendar.
  • Collect payment when someone books, through your Stripe or Square account.
  • A preparation reminder for the person hosting the appointment.

After someone books

Follow-up can happen on its own.

Booking rules

When a booking is confirmed, cancelled or rescheduled, the calendar can create a task, start a follow-up sequence, add a tag, send an email, or notify another app.

On the customer’s record

When the booking email matches an existing contact, the booking appears on that customer’s timeline alongside their emails, forms and invoices. See Customers & sales.

Good to know

A few setup details.

Text reminders need a business texting account connected to Digital Back Office; see Text messaging. Calendar sync needs permission to your Google or Outlook calendar, and paid bookings need your own Stripe or Square account. Reminders help, but they can’t guarantee attendance.
